1st in 11 yrs: No. of passengers falls at 2 airports

For the first time since 2008, India’s busiest airports – Delhi and Mumbai – have seen a year-on-year dip in passengers in 2019 compared with 2018. While Indira Gandhi International Airport saw fewer domestic passengers, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport registered a fall in both domestic and international carriage.
