Uber opens app in 5 cities for essential travel

Ride-sharing app Uber on Tuesday opened its cabs for essential travel for the public to visit pharmacies and hospitals, only in five cities, namely Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Nashik and Hyderabad. The company said that is looking to mandate masks, hand sanitizer and gloves for its driver to ensure hygiene. Resumption of full services expected when the lockdown ends.
