US ends WTO subsidy perks for India, China, others

US has narrowed its internal list of developing and least-developed countries in order to reduce the threshold for triggering a probe into whether nations are harming US industries with unfairly subsidized exports, according to a US Trade Representative notice. In doing so, US eliminated its special preferences for a list of self-declared developing countries that includes India and China.
